Nightfall is a research tool published by Axena Limited, Port Louis, Mauritius. This page says what we keep about you and what the service reads about companies.
What we store about you
- Your account: the email address you sign up with, your name if you give one, and whether you asked for the investment brief by email. Sign-in is handled by Supabase Auth; with Google sign-in we receive your email address and name from Google and nothing else.
- Your session token, kept in your browser so that you stay signed in.
- We send no marketing email unless you ticked the box, and you can ask us to stop or to delete your account at any time by writing to s.yxdav@gmail.com.
What the service reads about companies
- Extracts of file from the Registrar of Companies (CBRIS), the Economic Development Board's lists of approved residential projects, Statistics Mauritius and Bank of Mauritius publications, the Mauritius Ports Authority's daily port report, and the public pages of Mauritian newsrooms.
- Names of shareholders, directors, secretaries and auditors appear as the register prints them, to signed-in users only. Nothing is inferred about a person; service addresses are not shown.
- If you are named on the register and want a correction or have a question, write to s.yxdav@gmail.com.
Cookies and analytics
No advertising and no third-party analytics. The only cookie is the one that lets a record link open while you are signed in.
We count visits ourselves, in our own database: the pages viewed, the buttons and links clicked (by the words on the button, never what you typed), the site that sent you and any campaign tag in the link, your device type, browser and system, and your country and city as read from your connection. Your IP address is not stored. A visitor without an account is counted with a code made from the connection, the browser and a value that changes every day, so a visit can be counted within one day but cannot be followed from one day to the next. If you are signed in, these events are linked to your account so that we can count active users; deleting your account removes that link.
